Stop, read that again.  The words shouldn't go together but the flavors do and so does the nutrition.  Persian food according to what I learned from my mother who grew up in Tehran catering for hundreds of people.

Mom knows a thing or two about catering Persian food, but when it comes to her vegan son...aka Me, it's a different story.

When Mom was delivering meals for large events and gatherings, I'm guessing there were not too many requests for the distilled water, organic sprouted bread, or vegan menu...especially the vegan Persian menu.

So Mom ends up moving to the states where her kid grows up to be a vegan and a bachelor and that means not only does this dude have to learn to cook, but within vegan and persian boundaries - now can this be so?

One thing is for sure - no matter how healthy or vegan you may become now or another time, we can still grow up - and being able to do that with a highly trained and experienced Persian chef and caterer who values food service beyond the levels most might imagine was a special experience that carries over into my primitive guy-cooking style of a busy man and allows me to have super tasty, even gourmet but definitely comfort food on the regular.  I am blessed and soon you will be too.

Imagine being not only being satisfied with a cheap, easy and delicious Christmas Party Catering Option in LA, 

We stumbled upon a modern and untraditional solution for an amazingly simple Catering Solution for Christmas and Small House Parties - Middle-Eastern Catering, Mediterranean Catering, Persian & Armenian Catering.  

Here's the story:  I had to go to my inlaws for Christmas.  I am vegan and they are middle-eastern.  I'm expecting a typical Christmas Dinner with Ham, Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, Green Beans, Casserole, and stuff like that, 

But instead, I was pleasantly surprised to find a Buffet Style Catered Christmass Dinner with lots of Vegan Options.

How was this possible.  Especially in Los Angeles on Christmas Eve because you'd think, even the vegetarian options have butter in them or worse, how did I stumble upon a Vegan Christmas Catering Option on Christmas Eve that was Cheap & Easy for the host, with plenty of yummy left-overs for the guests. 

The food was Armenian from an Armenian-Persian Restaurant, Varouj's Kabobs in Glendale, CA.  The Holiday Party was in Van Nuys, so the catering company (restaurant catering) had to bring the food from Glendale to Van Nuys.  

When I got there they were just about to eat.  Buffet style platters were all over the center table.  The host showed me the vegetarian options that included hummus, mattaboul (an eggplant dish that is similar to hummus), tabouleh, Armenian & Greek salads, middle-eastern rice, grape leaves and more.

There was plently to keep a vegetarian or vegan full, and it's ironic coming from a primarily meat based restaurant that stems from a meat based culture.

Then the light bulb went off.

Easy & Affordable Catering that is High Quality. 

Being in Los Angeles, whether Hollywood, Los Feliz, Korea Town, Glendale or Van Nuys and the Valley, one thing is for sure - finding a convenient food delivery service, restaurant or caterer who can cater your holidays in an affordable, easy and effortless way.

It's not only possible, it's pretty easy if you know where to look.  LA has lots of chefs and chef services, lots of catering companies, and lots of restaurants that offer catering in Los Angeles & OC, but when it comes down to picking up the phone can calling now, you need to have options available for easy party planning for the holidays or private parties.

Does Varouj's Kabobs in Glendale, CA offer organic.  That's a great question and one we'd like to know.  It's Awesome and a good sign that their food is fresh (we're guessing it's local produce too).

If this were a certified organic restaurant in LA, I'm sure it'd be advertised as such, but I think it's just an old-school Authentic Armenian Restaurant that uses fresh, tasty ingredients and caters to vegetarians and vegans (a stretch, but yes they do).

Finding restaurants near me or caterers near me that deliver in short notice is very helpful too.
